...and back again!

 I've done quite a few things over the past couple weeks. Mostly was me and my mom going over to the Pu Dong area of Shanghai and seeing what is there. I also showed her some restaurants to eat at along with other nice places to walk around in.

我最近做了很多的东西。我大多和妈妈在浦东散步然后看看，我也给她看一些好吃的饭馆和好看的地方。

 Pu Dong is a nice area of Shanghai located in the eastern part. It is much quieter than Pu Xi but still is next to the Huang Pu river. The Pearl Tower is also on the Pu Dong side so you can go inside it or just get a closer look. There is also an area that I frequent called Lujiaxuihuan Road. (陆家嘴环路) Here you can get nice pictures and there are many restaurants to go to.

浦东是很好的地方。浦东比浦西安静不过它们都在黄埔河旁边。东方明珠塔在浦东所以你可以看更近。我也通常去陆家嘴环路因为这里有很多的饭馆。

面条

Most of the restaurants in China will give you some variety of noodles, soup, dumplings and other assorted snacks. One thing I've learned is most places don't have drinks or if they do its only Coke, Water and Tea. Maybe some sort of fruit juice as well. I've learned to bring my own drink to these smaller restaurants.

很多在中国的饭馆卖面条，饺子，汤，包子和别的小吃。我学了大多的饭馆没有饮料。要是它们有饮料，那有可乐，水，和茶。饭馆可能有水果汁。你应该带自己的饮料去饭馆。

After a week of exploring Shanghai my mom and I went to Japan to see my dad. We flew into Nagasaki airport and then transferred to Tokyo Airport. Nagasaki airport is very small but very convenient to go through.

一个星期以后，我和妈妈去日本看爸爸。我们先去长崎然后去东京机场。长崎的机场很小不过很方便。

Arriving to Tokyo airport was interesting as it is a nice airport as well. A little tired from travel we took an hour taxi cab ride to our hotel where we would meet my dad. I felt a little sick from travel so I pretty much slept the entire day away.

来到东京的机场很有其。我们来到了以后去酒店打车看爸爸。我全天睡觉了因为我在酒店生病了。

The second day was better for me as I was able to walk around Tokyo. I don't think we were in down town Tokyo, maybe some sort of suburb or outer area but, it was still fun. I saw a lot and being in Japan made me realize how much Chinese I knew as I couldn't even say "Thank You", "I want...", "You're Welcome" and many other easy phrases.

我觉得第二天更好的因为我可以和爸妈在东京散步。我不觉得在东京的中心，可能在东京的市郊。散步还是好玩。我看了很多的新东西，我实现了知道很多的中文因为我在日本不可以和别的人说。我不知道容易的日本句子。

东京

This trip made me realize how different Japan is from China. To me Japan City's Layout felt more like an American city than China's Cities as there is more a reliance of cars and taxis for transportation than walking and the metro, like in China. We didn't use the Tokyo Metro but we did walk into one and they already seem different from China's.

这个旅行让我实现怎么日本和中国不一样。我觉得日本的城市和美国的一点一样。美国的城市和日本的都用车很多。中国的城市走路很多也走地铁很多。我们不在东京坐地铁不过我们看见了日本的地铁看了不一样。

I do like the food that is in Japan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner that we had there were all great. My parents are not fans of Japanese food as they feel it has too much fish and veggies. My dad also doesn't like Chinese food so maybe they don't like Eastern food in general.

我喜欢日本菜。我爸妈不喜欢一些的菜。他们觉得日本的有太多的鱼和菜了。我爸爸也不喜欢中国的菜，他们可能不喜欢东的菜。

One thing that was surprising was how cold it was in Tokyo when we went. We knew it was winter and that it would be cold but as night approached the wind and temperatures became quite chilly. Luckily we all brought jackets to wear else walking around would've been terrible.

我没想到了东京的天气这么冷！我知道现在是冬天不过晚上这么冷。我们都带夹克，那很好。

秘密的饭馆

 We did go to a cool "secret" restaurant where we got to try a wide variety of Japanese dishes. If you know what this restaurant is and you've gone here then please tell me how your experience was down below!

我们去过“秘密”的饭馆吃日本菜。如果你知道这个地方，那告诉我你的经验！
 

 I thought the food was pretty good, surprisingly my dad had ordered the seafood course for all of us and we got to try some neat things. One of the best dishes we had was the steak as it was cooked so well and super delicious. I liked each course but my parents had different opinions. My dad liked the lobster but wasn't a fan of the soups and sushi. My mom hated the sushi but loved the soups.

我觉得事物都好吃，我爸爸突然给我和妈妈买了海鲜的食物。最好的菜是牛排因为厨师做得非常好！牛排超级好吃。我爸爸喜欢龙虾不过不喜欢汤。妈妈讨厌寿司不过喜欢汤。

 After eating at the "secret" restaurant we then took our things back to the airport where we would stay at the airport hotel. After only three days in Japan I got to experience a lot and have thought about studying Japanese so that I could train in Karate there one day but... let's stick to one extra language for now.

我们吃饭以后去机场的酒店打车。我们只在日本三天。我经验了很多然后现在我想学习日本语所以我一天可以在日本练习空手道。现在我只学习中文~

 With all this traveling I was able to think a lot about how I'll spend my last three months in China. I have two plans that I am considering:

旅行这么多让我想，“我这么过三个最后的月？”。现在我认为连个计划。

Study the language at a school for the last 3 months. This would allow me to work on listening and speaking as writing I'm able to practice on my own since its the least important. I can work on reading on my own as well but listening and speaking I won't be able to do all the time.

我在学校学习中文。我可以练习听力和说中文。现在我可以和自己看和写。

Study Kung Fu and Tai Chi. I promised my teacher in California that one day I'd return and we can do Tai Chi together. This was also my original reason for coming to China... martial arts. But traveling, writing, playing games and exploring has taken up all my time here.

我可能练习功夫/武术或者打太极拳。我对美国的老师说了我会在中国打太极拳然后回来美国以后和他打太极拳。这是原来的意思去中国。

Those are my plans and I'll start one of these plans after my Xiamen trip with my good Chinese friend.

我和女朋友去厦门以后会决定。
